The 78 year old, one of the oldest to be elected, President elect of the United States of America, Joe Biden and Vice President elect Kamala Harris, the first woman to hold the office, daughter of an Indian and Jamaican parents, named Time’s 2020 Person of the Year.
Last year, climate activist, Greta Thunberg, was named Person of the Year, as the youngest person to ever receive the title.
Kamala Harris told Time, “I will be the first, but I will not be the last,” and also added “And that’s about legacy, that’s about creating a pathway, that’s about leaving the door more open than it was when you walked in.”
