Senapati, April 23: In a significant move, the Poumai Naga Union (PNU) Assembly has reinforced its solidarity to back the Independent candidate, S. Kho John, in the ongoing political campaign for the 18th Lok Sabha Election 2024. This declaration came to light during a political rally held at Khabung Karong in Senapati district.

Addressing the gathered audience, Independent candidate S. Kho John, vying for the II-Outer Manipur Parliamentary Constituency, expressed profound gratitude for the unwavering support and prayers received from his supporters during the initial phase of the Lok Sabha Elections, 2024. While acknowledging his inability to personally connect with every supporter due to limited resources as an independent candidate, he urged them not to misinterpret his constraints as neglect but rather as challenges he navigates with humility and determination.

S. Kho John humbly requested everyone to view the situation with empathy and positivity, emphasizing the significance of every prayer, word of encouragement, and vote of confidence bestowed upon him. He extended a heartfelt invitation to supporters from all walks of life to join him in his mission for a future built on the principles of integrity, inclusivity, and progress.

The candidate appealed for continuous prayer support and collective advocacy for free and fair elections, emphasizing the importance of exercising adult franchise judiciously. With confidence and determination, he expressed his belief in emerging victorious in the election, aiming to make history and shape the future of the nation with the support and prayers of all.

Dr. Sele Stephen, Advisor to the Poumai Naga Union, Delhi (PNU-D), echoed the sentiments of unity, emphasizing the importance of working together for success. Poumai Naga Union President, RB. Pani, highlighted the outcome of the first phase election and urged all to support the decision of the community in projecting the Independent candidate for the forthcoming election as the district candidate.

As the campaign gathers momentum, S. Kho John urged everyone to channel their efforts and energy into the final phase, ensuring that the voices of the people resonate loud and clear, fostering unity in the pursuit of a brighter tomorrow where every citizen is empowered to realize their full potential.
