Independent Candidate S. Kho John Gains Momentum as PNU Strengthens Solidarity

Senapati, April 23: In a significant move, the Poumai Naga Union (PNU) Assembly has reinforced its solidarity to back the Independent candidate, S. Kho John, in the ongoing political campaign for the 18th Lok Sabha Election 2024. This declaration came to light during a political rally held at Khabung Karong in Senapati district.

Addressing the gathered audience, Independent candidate S. Kho John, vying for the II-Outer Manipur Parliamentary Constituency, expressed profound gratitude for the unwavering support and prayers received from his supporters during the initial phase of the Lok Sabha Elections, 2024. While acknowledging his inability to personally connect with every supporter due to limited resources as an independent candidate, he urged them not to misinterpret his constraints as neglect but rather as challenges he navigates with humility and determination.

S. Kho John humbly requested everyone to view the situation with empathy and positivity, emphasizing the significance of every prayer, word of encouragement, and vote of confidence bestowed upon him. Dr. Sele Stephen, Advisor to the Poumai Naga Union, Delhi (PNU-D), echoed the sentiments of unity, emphasizing the importance of working together for success. Poumai Naga Union President, RB. Pani, highlighted the outcome of the first phase election and urged all to support the decision of the community in projecting the Independent candidate for the forthcoming election as the district candidate.
