Moreh Youth Club and KSO conduct Cleanliness Drive

Moreh Youth Club (MYC) and Kuki Students’ Organisation (KSO) Moreh block conducted cleanliness drive by removing the huge piles of waste which had been piled up at the roadside of Moreh town.

Discarded waste, leftover debris, trash, garbage had been piled up at the roadside in the heart of Moreh town during the past weeks. Besides emanating strong smell it became a threat to human health. The waste piles also reduced width of the road. MYC and KSO removed the waste today and disposed it at waste dumping site.

N Gojendro Singh ADC Moreh, who happen to pass through the route, halted and appreciated the initiative taken up by the KSO and MYC. “Hygiene Cafe – cum- Resort” and “Santosh Electronic Stall” provided refreshment to KSO & MYC.

KSO & MYC appealed Moreh public to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in their respective localities.

Later, leaders of KSO and MYC visited Moreh Hospital and met doctors and staff. The CSO leaders expressed that they are ready to help the hospital (medical staff) in case if their assistance are required.
