Naga People’s Front, Manipur expresses gratitude, Congratulates Alfred K Arthur

Imphal, June 5, 2024: The Naga People’s Front (NPF), Manipur State unit, stated it participated in the 18th Lok Sabha Election 2024 for the Outer Manipur Parliamentary Constituency with Kachui Timothy Zimik as their candidate. The NPF Manipur State unit in a press release expressed its deep gratitude to all party members and well-wishers, acknowledging that their progress would not have been possible without their support. The party also emphasized that it shares the burdens and struggles of its alliance partners and supporters.

The NPF Manipur State unit extended special thanks to N. Biren Singh, Chief Minister of Manipur, and his BJP legislators, the entire BJP party and its karyakartas, the Chief Minister of Nagaland, Neiphiu Rio, and his legislators, as well as the BJP of Nagaland. Additionally, they expressed gratitude to all ranks and file of the NPP party and their legislators, and to the central leaders of NPF.

The party acknowledged the support of the United Naga Council (UNC) leaders and its federating units, the Naga Women Union, ANSAM, and all pastors who have continuously prayed for them. They also expressed appreciation to the voters of the Outer Manipur Parliamentary constituency for casting their valuable votes for the NPF. The party commended Kachui Timothy Zimik and his family for their dedicated efforts during the election.

Despite not achieving success this time, the NPF Manipur State unit urged everyone to stand together and continue their efforts. They congratulated Alfred Kanngam S. Arthur, the Indian National Congress (INC) candidate, on his success. They expressed hope that he would work for the welfare of all communities in Manipur as a Member of Parliament representing the Outer Manipur Parliamentary Constituency.

The NPF reaffirmed its commitment to protecting the indigenous people, rich Naga cultural heritage, traditions, land, and political rights for future generations, emphasizing that they will not compromise on these issues in any manner.
