S Toiho Yeptho elected unopposed as Nagaland’s 14th Deputy Speaker

Kohima: S Toiho Yeptho of the National Congress Party was elected unopposed as Deputy Speaker of the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly today.

Congratulating on his appointment, chief minister Neiphiu Rio said that his maiden election was an indication of confidence of the house.

Rio described him as a good and efficient leader given his rich experience in the public service. He also assured support from the house in undertaking his constitutional duties.
