One Day Awareness Programme on National Education Policy 2020, organised by IQAC (Internal Quality Assurance Cell) Tamenglong College, Tamenglong under the sponsorship of Directorate of University & Higher Education, Government of Manipur was held at Tamenglong College’s Auditorium on Saturday.

Dr T Ojit Singh, Joint Director, University and Higher Education, Government of Manipur & State Nodal Officer, RUSA, Manipur graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Dr Th Tilakraj, Asst Prof, Ideal girls’ college & Mr S Birajit, Asst Prof, Manipur College as Guests of Honour and Dr N Daimei, Principal, Tamenglong college as President of the event respectively. Besides college students and staff of Tamenglong College, representatives from various schools in the district also attend the program.

Mr. Ngampingampou Gonmei, Asst Prof, History dept presented a paper on “NEP-2020: Challenges & Opportunities” and Mrs Rose Gonmei delivered a talk on “NEP-2020 with special reference to Higher education”. The program ended with a vote of thanks by Mr David Jiangamlung Kamei, Jt Coordinator, IQAC, Tamenglong college.

Meanwhile, a one day workshop on NAAC, NIRF and AISHE was also held on Saturday at Tamenglong College Auditorium. It was organized by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Tamenglong college on 16th April, 2021 at the Multipurpose Hall of the College.

During the Workshop, Dr Kinthuijinang Maremmai, Assoc Prof, Tamenglong College delivered speech on “Internal quality assurance Cell’. Mr NG Tuakeulung, Asst Prof, Eng dept & IT Nodal Officer, spoke on “NAAC: Revised Assessment & Accreditation Framework” and speech on “NIRF & its importance” was delivered by Mr Ninglu, Assoc Prof & RUSA Nodal Officer. The session ended with a talk on “AISHE” by Aishe Nodal officer, Mr Pouhiamlung Kamei with a concluding remark by Helen Panmei, Head of Eng Dept.
