Ukhrul Times is an online news portal based out of Ukhrul district, Manipur. UT focus on news related to Ukhrul, Manipur (with emphasis on Hill districts) and other parts of Northeast India. Given the limited English news bandwidth, having no news publication in Ukhrul, journalists at the forefront came together to fill the void in establishing Ukhrul Times with the underpinnings of independent media for democratic principles and press freedom to serve the people in disseminating unhyphenated news.
