Ukhrul: The Tangkhul Geoscience Forum (TGF) said it congratulates Dr Horthing V Zimik on getting selected for the position of Scientist-C at the National Institute of Oceanography, Goa. Dr. Zimik is currently serving as the General Secretary of the Tangkhul Geoscience Forum.
The TGF said in their statement that, “He must be one of the first among Tangkhul to complete a Ph.D and Post-Doctoral experience in IITs.”
Dr Horthing V Zimik is the son of Samson ZV and Yangringla ZV from Sirarakhong Village in Ukhrul District.

While TGF wished Dr Horthing a bright success, sending him congratulations, it also hopes his specialisation would provide insight into tackling water crisis in Ukhrul.
