Ukhrul Times is an independent online news daily based out of the Ukhrul district of Manipur. UT focuses on news related to Ukhrul, Manipur (with emphasis on the Hill districts) and other parts of Northeast India. UT is available for free for everyone to read and is now read by hundreds and thousands of readers from Manipur, Northeast India. Its readership has substantially expanded to the rest of the country as well.
Ukhrul Times has no political or commercial masters, we report without bias or agenda. UT was formed during the pandemic in June 2020 to disseminate news as there is a dearth of English news publications from Manipur Hills. UT is passionate about news, and we are determined to offer quality reliable news content, minus the noise.
