6-hour total shutdown in Ukhrul Dist called by TKS on December 6

Ukhrul: The Tangkhul Katamnao Saklog (TKS) responding to Naga Student’s Federation call for 6-hour total shutdown from 6 am till 12 pm of December 6, Monday said it will impose total shutdown in Ukhrul district to protest against the brutal killing of 15 innocent civilians in Oting, Mon District, Nagaland, while injuring several others.

In the notification issued for public information, TKS said it “stands in solidarity with our Naga brethren in Oting, and mourns the lives lost, and further urges the public for their fullest cooperation”>

Medical emergency, other emergency services and students appearing exams shall be exempted
from the total shutdown.
