Schools in Nagaland for primary classes from 1 to 5 will re-open from March 22.
It can be noted here that classes 6 and above have started classes since February 8, 2021.
Meanwhile, the Department of School Education, government of Nagaland, has informed that few schools have resumed regular classes for students of pre-primary classes whereas the government has allowed resuming of normal classes only for students of classes 6 and above with effect from February 8, 2021 and that for students of classes 1 to 5 with effect from March 22, 2021.
“All concerned have been cautioned that resuming of normal classes for students of pre-primary classes without the approval of the competent authority is strictly prohibited and appropriate action will be initiated against the erring school heads and school managements,” a notification from the school department said on Thursday.
