Kohima: The Nagaland Strongman & Fitness Association (NSFA) in collaboration with Kohima Smart City Development Ltd organized the 4th edition Nagaland Strongman (Men) and CrossFit (Men and Women) under the theme, ‘Eat Smart Eat Safe’ on December 18 at Old NST, Kohima.
In the Strongman competition, Sedevizo Keretsű defended his title and won the Championship becoming the Strongest man in Nagaland followed by runners-up Tsuknunakum Jamir, Mangoulen Haokip and 17 year old Kevidi Linyű AKA ‘The Panda.’
Sedevizo won a cash award of rupees 30,000, citation and a Champion’s trophy ‘The Naga Hammer.’ The runners-up were awarded rupees 20,000, 10,000 and 5,000 respectively.
In the Men’s CrossFit Challenge, Mr Bisekhoto Gwirie won the title of ‘Fittest Man’ and a cash of rupees 30,000 and citation. Mr Imliyanger Aier and Zhopao Movi won the runners up and were awarded rupees 20,000 and 10,000 respectively along with citations.

In the Women CrossFit Challenge, the ‘Fittest Woman’ title was bagged by Miss Peiheiteile of State Sports Academy who was awarded a cash award of rupees 10,000 with citation. The runners-up were Miss Tsujen and Manchen who were awarded with cash of rupees 7,000 and 5,000 respectively along with citations.
The event was graced by special guests, Smti T Lanusenla Longkumer the administrator, KMC and Shri Neidilhou Angami director for the directorate of Economics and Statistics Kohima, Nagaland.
