Imphal: Manipur chief minister N Biren Singh claimed that people are with the BJP as the party-led coalition government has done an excellent job in its five years tenure.
The chief minister said this after casting his vote at his home polling station in Luwangsangbam of Heingang constituency this morning where he is contesting the election. He was accompanied by his wife while casting the vote.
Biren Singh said that in the last election held in 2017, the BJP could not predict the number of seats to be secured. “But, this time, people are with the BJP after observing the performance of the party-led coalition government in the last five years”, he added. “Now, the people have faith in the BJP,” he also said, and added that people are fully satisfied with the government. “Besides, the people realized how much Central leaders of the party including prime minister Narendra Modi, union home minister Amit Shah and party chief JP Nadda care about the people of the state and their corporation in the development of the state”, he further said.
