Special Police Unit for North East Region (SPUNER) with a dedicated Northeast helpline number 1093, received information in the wee hours of September 11, in Delhi of one Northeast man stabbed in an incident and that the injured victim was already under treatment at AIIMS trauma center Delhi.
Office of SPUNER staff IO-ASI, Ramphal of Police Station Kishangarh, immediately rushed to the hospital and took stock of the situation. The preliminary report found that the victim Mr Shap Jajo, a 28 year old male of Tangkhul tribe from Manipur was stabbed in his neck with a sharp object in an attempted robbery at Kishangarh near a CNG filling station, SI Nilmon said. The police in it’s report said the victim was unable to comment for statement due to injury at that time.
SPUNER immediately lodging an FIR 386/20 u/s 307 IPC on September 11 night at Kishangarh Police Station. The case has been handed over to SI Sanjay Indora, police report said.
According to the police source, other Sections leading to the stabbing incident may be added once the victim is fit to give his statement.
SPUNER police officials of Kishangarh reacted quickly and after thorough investigation, three assailants were arrested. With inputs form the victim now stable and discharged from the hospital, the three assailants will be produced in the court, the police said.
