ANSAM extends best wishes to students appearing Board Exams

Senapati: The All Naga Students’ Association, Manipur (ANSAM) has extended its “best wishes” to all the students who will be appearing for the upcoming examinations of High School Leaving Certificate(HSLC), 2024 and Higher Secondary Education(HSE), 2024 to be conducted by BOSEM, COHSEM and CBSE.

The Naga student body then said it “strongly advocates” for inclusive welfare, particularly in the education sector, ensuring equitable access throughout the state. “Our ardent gratitude is extended to the esteemed leadership of the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Manipur Shri N. Biren Singh, Education Minister Shri Th Basanta Singh and Education Department for the pivotal role in orchestrating transformative measures within the educational landscape,” the ANSAM also said. Notable initiatives such as the “School Fagathansi Mission” and the recently inaugurated “College Fagathansi Mission” stand as tangible testaments to these endeavors, the Naga student body further said.

The ANSAM also expressed its appreciation to the “departmental efforts” in addressing teaching faculty shortages, including the recent declaration of recruitment results of 164 Assistant Professors for Government colleges, aligning with the New Education Policy 2020. “As students are the future pillars of society, the need for a robust education system, including qualitative evaluation for fair competition is of paramount importance”.

The ANSAM also said that, in light of prevailing challenges, particularly amid the ongoing turmoil, the association “fervently implores” the state government to accord due cognizance to the forthcoming BOSEM, COHSEM and CBSE examinations. “We urge for meticulous arrangements and measures to ensure the seamless and efficacious conduct of these examinations. In solidarity with this endeavor, the All Naga Students’ Association, Manipur (ANSAM) pledges unwavering support, affirming our steadfast commitment to the noble cause of fostering a robust educational milieu”, it added.

 In solidarity with this cause, “we pledge unwavering support and call upon all stakeholders to maintain decorum, thereby facilitating an environment conducive to the smooth conduct of these examinations”.

The ANSAM then reiterated its commitment to collaborative efforts with concerned bodies of the education sector to enhance the educational infrastructure and quality education in Manipur for “better tomorrow, while also advocating for peace and harmony within the state”.
