Bungdon Pabing Society Felicitates Students

Chandel, May 29: The Bungdon Pabing Society on Thursday felicitated students from the clan who cleared the Class 10 and 12 examinations conducted by BOSEM, COHSEM, and CBSE, the results of which were declared recently.

The students were felicitated during the Hme-Amna ru Piisumna Roram 2025 held at the Community Hall of Lamphoupasna village in Chandel district.

Serving as the resource person, Dr. Bd. Thumdal Anal, (Retd.) Principal of United College, Chandel, congratulated the students on their success, stating that it was the outcome of their hard work and dedication. He also exhorted the students and encouraged them to face life’s challenges with zeal and enthusiasm, and to emerge as winners.

He emphasized the importance of education and knowledge as a means to progress in life, and called on the parents present to encourage and support their children. “If we are to build a better society, parents must support and encourage their children to learn more and become successful,” he said.

Earlier in the programme, Bd. Bengam, President of the Bungdon Pabing Society, welcomed all the members, while Hb. Tangam, Local Catechist of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Lamphoupasna, offered prayers for the success of the event.

Bd. Onahring, Secretary of the Bungdon Pabing Society, delivered the vote of thanks and expressed gratitude to those who attended the event despite the rain. “It shows your love and support for the Bungdon Pabing Society,” he said.

As part of the event, the Bungdon Pabing Society also planted a tree in the village.

Bungdon Pabing Society Hme-Amna ru Piisumna Roram is an annual event of the Bungdon clan of the Anāl Naga community, where clan members come together to celebrate the success of students, as well as to connect and encourage one another in daily life activities.
