As Amazing NamastE Facebook page is a community platform that focus on Northeast to bridge the gap in India, a humane initiative was carried out by Amazing NamastE team doing its bid as a COVID-19 warrior.
With the help of Bombay Stock Exchange, Amazing NamastE has delivered two Oxygen Concentrators each at Haflong in Assam, Lamka, Kakching & Ukhrul in Manipur government hospitals. At Haflong 100 PPE Kits (Donated by FINER) & 500 numbers of N95 Masks (Donated by Hotel Novotel, Guwahati) were delivered through well wishers.
A token of love from Amazing NamastE was shared in Ukhrul through AR Mathing, Miss Manipur 2019. “She was one of the Guest Speakers of Amazing NamastE. She apprised on the current need in the region to fight COVID-19 collectively,” said Atul Kulkarni.
Guest Speakers AR Mathing said, “As I was planning to start a fund drive since many people in the region are not financially sound and hospitals lack equiptments, I contacted Atul Kulkarni. Since I was told to ask for any help if needed from their side, I asked for Oxygen Concentrators, Oxygen flow meter, PPE Kit, fund or welcome any kind of help. I am very happy that Amazing NamastE help came in without any hesitation. Thank you so much for such a timely help.
Dr. AS. Kapangring, Chief Medical Officer, Ukhrul District expressing gratitude said, “A big thanks on behalf of my department for arranging the much needed equiptments during this time of pandemic. Third wave is coming and if many people get sick, I am sure it will save many lives. I really appreciate Mathing for such a thoughtful act at this young age. I wish her the best in all her endeavors.”
