Noney: Assam Rifles conducted a medical camp at the Tribal Market Complex in Nungba, Noney (Manipur) on May 24, 2024, according to a press release. The medical camp was organised in coordination with the Primary Health Centre (PHC) Nungba.

The medical camp addressed the critical healthcare needs arising from the ongoing change of weather, monsoon rains, and associated health issues. A total of 350 locals, including 200 women and children, received medical attention during the event. Attendees came from remote villages such as Kekru Naga, Rengpang, Merrylane, and Rongdai, seeking remedies for their health concerns. The satisfaction on the faces of the children, women, and elderly reflected the success of the event, with the medical staff providing compassionate and attentive care to each patient.
