Imphal: The Board of Secondary Education, Manipur (BOSEM), is set to commence its Class 10 examination for the year 2024 from March 15 onwards, continuing until April 8, 2024.
This year, a total of 37,715 students are set to appear for the Class 10 board exams, comprising 19,087 male students and 18,628 female students.
Speaking to media persons on Thursday, Akham Joykumar Singh, Chairman of BOSEM, stated that the board examination would be conducted across 154 centers, with 91 in the valley and 63 in the hill districts.
The official further informed that the Board has appointed 25 inspection teams comprising government officials and representatives from private institutions in the valley. Meanwhile, three or four inspection teams, comprising DC/ADC officials, ZEO staff, and teachers, will conduct inspections in the hill districts.
Additionally, eleven nodal officers for hill districts have been appointed to supervise the exam’s conduct. The nodal officer and their subordinates will manage and supervise with the assistance of ZEO
