CHANDEL: The Chakpikarong Youth Club on Sunday celebrated its 58th Annual Youth Day at Chakpikarong Village Cultural Hall with great enthusiasm and community participation.
The event was graced by BD Maikal (Block in-charge, MSRLM, Khengjoy Block, Chandel) as the Chief Guest while LH Precica (Science Graduate Teacher) and RD Wankhuhring (ADC Chandel) attended as Guests of Honour. Ts Berek (Chief, Chakpikarong village), Py Candy (Advisor, CYC), BD Runhring (chairman, IDF), and Lh Hringniwar (chairperson, Chakpikarong village Sinnu Ruwl) were present as Special Guests.

The programme featured inspiring performances by the CYC Praise and Worship team, special songs by Ts Khiaimry and Sng Phowlhman, and choreographed items presented by Chakpikarong Baptist Church Sinnu Ruwl.
During the programme, the club released an official magazine titled – A Chronicle of Growth, Commitment, and Community Service. The publication chronicles three pivotal years (2023-2025) of dedicated service of the incumbent leadership – Dr Bd Onahring, president; RT Sainial, vice president; Lh Tangkhel, general secretary; Rng Angkhuhring, assistant general secretary; Lh Koningam, Education & Magazine secretary; BD Loveson, Games & Sports secretary; Ws Phahrin, assistant Games & Sports secretary; Ws Narila, treasurer; Sng Thapung, Social & Cultural secretary; Ws Moningth, assistant Social & Cultural secretary; RT Maria, Women co-ordinator; BD Firstson, Information, Publicity & Property secretary; auditors Ws Ruwngwar & Py Candy, advisors; and Nl Stephen, Ts Winkimson, and BD Maria. The magazine provides a detailed chronicle of CYC’s achievements, activities and milestones.

The formal programme concluded with words of appreciation from Lh Tangkhel. The celebration culminated with a sumptuous feast, followed by an evening of cultural events, traditional dances, and musical performances by Momopa, Ws Lengcha, Kl Hringni, and Kl Konahring.
