Chandel Society Delhi Hosts Sports Meet 2025

CHANDEL, NOV 23: The Chandel Society Delhi (CSD) organised its CSD Sports Meet 2025 on Saturday at Rosary School, Radio Colony, bringing together Naga communities from Chandel district under the theme of Oneness and Service.

More than 300 participants and well-wishers attended the event, which featured football, basketball, and volleyball competitions. The programme opened with a prayer by Rev. Fr. Albert Leivon.

CSD President Th. Tommy Monsang, in his welcome address, stressed the importance of strengthening unity among the community, urging student leaders to deepen ties and work together to meet common challenges in Delhi.

The football and volleyball finals were the day’s main highlights, marked by spirited cheering and lively commentary from Ringku and Levisha, along with musical performances by Windy Kangten and Denipha Rohin.

The Anal Community Delhi emerged as Overall Team Champions, while the Monsang Community Delhi received the Best Disciplined Team and Runners-Up trophies. All communities were also given a token of appreciation.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks from W. Fameson, Finance Secretary, followed by a closing prayer from Pastor Wynlic Sankhil.
