Ukhrul, 25: Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur (CoHSEM) declared the results of the 2025 Higher Secondary Exam this afternoon.
Overall pass percentage for all streams is 94 per cent, with the Science stream leading at 95.45 per cent, followed by Commerce at 92.06 per cent, and Arts at 90.12 per cent. The total pass percentage for all the streams is 3 per cent lower than the previous year’s results. The pass percentage of government institutes is 89.95 per cent, and that of private schools is 95.66 per cent.

Riya Khwairakpam from Comet School topped the Science Stream, achieving letter marks in all five subjects. In the Arts Stream, Keisham Hannah from Enlighten Knowledge Higher Secondary School secured the first position, also obtaining letter marks in all subjects. Warepam Lidia from TG Higher Secondary School achieved the first position in the Commerce Stream, earning letter marks in all subjects.
Out of a total of 20,848 students who appeared for the exams in the Science Stream, 19,900 passed. In the Arts Stream, 7,532 students took the exam, with 6,788 passing. In the Commerce Stream, 529 students participated, and 487 passed.
The exams were conducted from February 17 to March 26 across 112 centers, including 38 in the hills and 74 in the valley. As in previous years, TG Higher Secondary School, a government institution, was notable for having multiple top position holders in all streams. Three students from TG Higher Secondary School ranked in the top ten positions in the Arts Stream, six students placed in the top five of the Commerce Stream, and one student made it to the top 20 in the Science Stream.

In the Arts Stream, Keisham Hannah of Enlighten Knowledge Higher Secondary School bagged first position, securing letter marks across all subjects. Out of the total 20 thousand 848 students who appeared for the exam in science dream, 19 thousand 900 passed the exam; In art stream, 7 thousand 532 students appeared, of which 6 thousand 788 passed and in the commerce stream, a total of 529 students appeared for the exam, of which 487 passed.
