Commissioner of Police Delhi briefed about SPUNER

Commissioner of Police Delhi, Rakesh Asthana after assuming charge on July 28 was briefed about the functioning of Special Police Unit for North East Region (SPUNER) on Friday. He was apprised about problems being faced by North-East people in Delhi. Further, he was also presented a memento.

Focus will be on basic policing – crime prevention and maintaining law and order, besides attention on emergent areas. A force of formidable reputation Delhi police will work as a team to serve national capital, said CP Delhi, Asthana.

SPUNER is committed to serve the North East Community residing in the Capital and work towards an inclusive ecosystem.
