CRPF 94 Battalion Conducts Civic Action Programme at Khejang Village

KANGPOKPI: The E Company of the 94 Battalion CRPF on Friday organised a civic action programme at the Khejang village football ground in Manipur’s Kangpokpi district.

During the programme, essential items including solar street lights, solar lamps, sports materials, seeds and fertilisers were distributed to residents of K Longhom, Upper Khejang and other neighbouring villages.

This programme marked the second such civic action initiative undertaken by the 94 Battalion CRPF. A similar event was organised by the unit three days earlier in the Saparmeina area. Speaking on the occasion, a senior official of the 94 Battalion CRPF stated that more such programmes would be conducted in various parts of Kangpokpi district in the near future.

The event was attended by Vinod Kumar, Commandant, Pushkar Bhardwaj, Second-in-Command, along with other officers of the 94 Battalion CRPF. Village elders, women, village chiefs and secretaries, as well as hundreds of villagers, participated in the programme with enthusiasm. On behalf of the participating villages, the Youth President of Khejang village expressed gratitude to the CRPF officials for organising the programme in the area.
