DC Ukhrul directs non-permanent resident of Manipur residing in Ukhrul Dist to renew ILP promptly; Warns of action against defaulters

In pursuance of the Home department, government of Manipur letter issued on September 25 deputy commisioner of Ukhrul had ordered any person who is not a permanent resident of Manipur state and not under the category of exemption and staying in Ukhrul district to immediately apply and renew Inner Line Permit (ILP).

In the order issued on September 28 DC Ukhrul Joseph Pauline Kamson had warned that action will be initiated against the defaulters.

The order had further instructed Superintendent of Police, Ukhrul to initiate verification, and identify the defaulters and take necessary action as per the Rule and Act with immediate effect.
