Churachandpur, September 18 (DIO): A three-day District Process Lab (DPL) Training Programme under the Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan came to a close today at the DTC Training Hall in Tuibong, Churachandpur, with participants pledging to take their learnings back to the grassroots.
Jointly organised by the district administrations of Churachandpur and Pherzawl, the training was aimed at strengthening governance and improving delivery of welfare schemes in tribal regions. The model works through District Master Trainers mentoring Block Master Trainers, while also involving civil society groups to ensure development is rooted in local realities.

Deputy Commissioner of Pherzawl, Mannuamching, who attended the valedictory function as Chief Guest, called the initiative “a vital platform for accelerating last-mile delivery of welfare schemes.” She urged trainees to use their skills to promote inclusive growth and sustainable grassroots development.
Nodal Officer of MoTA, Manipur, ST Rithung Anal, underlined the importance of equipping Aadi Karmayogis, Aadi Sahyoogis, and Aadi Saathis with the right tools to act as change agents in their communities.
Joining the programme virtually, Ganesh Nagarajan, Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, interacted with participants and spoke about the challenges of implementing the Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan.

Among others, Thangboi Gangte, ADC, Churachandpur, and Joel Haokip, ADC, Pherzawl, were also present. The closing session saw participants take a collective pledge to uphold inclusive governance, followed by the distribution of certificates in recognition of their active participation.
