Heirok MLA Th Radheshyam tenders resignation as CM’s advisor

Imphal: Just three months after his appointment as advisor to chief minister N Biren Singh, BJP MLA Thokchom Radheshyam Singh of Heirok AC has tendered his resignation from the post of CM’s advisor on Thursday citing lack of responsibilities assigned to him.

“I tender my resignation from the post of Advisor to CM, Manipur as I have not been given any responsibility so far,” said MLA Radheshyam in his resignation letter addressed to CM Biren Singh.

Further, in his resignation, former Manipur Education, Labour & Employment minister Dr. Thokchom Radheshyam expressed his desire to focus on the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in 2024 and development works in his Heirok constituency.

Th Radheshyam was appointed as the advisor of the chief minister in December 30, 2022.

He was first elected as the member of the Manipur Legislative Assembly from Heirok constituency in 2017.
