Delhi: An unidentified male body that was found on August 6 on a footpath of the outer ring road near Gopalpur red-light in North Delhi has been buried today at an unmarked grave at Burari graveyard by Helping Hands volunteers.

The unidentified body was found on August 6 in an accidental state and was immediately rushed to Trauma Centre, Civil Lines Hospital in Delhi where he was declared brought dead. The body was being kept for 15 days in Subzi Mandi mortuary waiting for identification.

“For 15 days, we tried to identify the youth, but could not. He was from Northeast states. Today finally, Helping Hands took the body and buried him at an unmarked grave at Burari graveyard with prayer by a pastor along with Helping Hands volunteers, Yogchen Lama and Raj Hanan.

For the world, he might be just a youth who left this earth too early but for us, he was a brave struggle from a northeast state who ventured out into the cities to make a better life for his impoverished family back home.
