International Child Rights Week: FXB Suraksha initiates poster awareness drive in Ukhrul town

FXB Suraksha is carrying out a poster awareness campaign in Ukhrul town in connection with the observance of the International Child Rights Week, from November 14 to 20.

Project Director, FXB Aso Shangh said that as part of the week-long observance, a team of FXB Suraksha is conducting a poster campaign in different localities and the offices of both government and civil society institutions in the township.

“Through this initiative, we are trying to reach out to them with the message of safeguarding child rights,” he said on the sidelines of the campaign at Tangkhul Naga Long campus here at Viewland on Monday.

Informing that FXB Suraksha is running ‘Child Line-1098’ in the district since 2019, he stated that the service is dedicated to protection of children from all forms of danger.

The team put up posters in different prominent locations in the town areas and localities.

The posters contained awareness and guiding messages like “Be Our Friend By Calling 1098, when you see a child ill and alone, in need of shelter, abandoned or Iost, being abused, being trafficked, being bullied on the street/at school.”
