Japalpur Innovative B.Tech duo launched EMITS, a LED Manufacturing Unit in Ukhrul

EMITS aims to provide Quality Lightings such as LED bulbs, tube lights, street lights, Ceiling light etc, at 9 W, 15 W, 18 W, 9 W AC/DC to its CLIENTS at Competitive Rates. Hardware and Software solutions is also in the Pipeline.

EMITS – a LED bulb manufacturing unit with the unique signature tag -FEEL THE LIGHT – was officially launched in Viewland, Ukhrul Saturday.

Unveiled by R. Lawrence Tuizar, deputy planning chairman ADC Ukhrul, the event was attended by Peacemoon Zimik, general secretary Tangkhul Leihsak Long, AS. Paulinus, president Chingjaroi Union Ukhrul (CUU), Hoping Khamasug, social worker, AS. Roviso, president CKYO, village elders and well wishers.

Rev. Fr. John Parvis, Principal, St. Joseph College, Ukhrul blessed the launched event while Dearson Khansu, Tribalgoo founder hosted the event.

Speaking at the launched event, R. Lawrence Tuizar, lauded the great job done by this two innovative B.Tech youths saying they could have achieved this breakthrough because of their hard work and God’s grace.

“This is indeed a historic day for the villagers of Chingjaroi, ” Lawrence said, who is also the Councilor of Chingjaroi DCC 2 and urged the native youths working outside the states to initiate such enterprising services when coming home.

Looking around Ukhrul downtown market scene, we found no trace of LED manufacturing other then one imported from outside. After due research we decided to give back to the community the best services we could while creating more jobs for the youths. That’s how EMITS with the signature tag “FEEL THE LIGHT” came into being, informed the EMITS duo founders.

EMITS credited the success of their newly launched manufacturing unit to their parents unstinted support and prayers, for investing maximum in their education amid hardships while the duo remained focused to their mission by learning all that they could.

When Ukhrul Times specifically asked on how it wanted to carry forward its mission plan while staying relevant with the stiff competition from mainstream and Chinese products, EMITS exuded confidence and unveiled its final takeaways plans saying it intents to manufacture various sorts of electronic gadgets in bulk as per the fast changing market’s demand so that the locals remain self-sufficient and less-dependent on the imported products while being receptive to change.

Educated from B. Tech programme in Electronics & Communication from St. Aloysius Institute of Technology, Japalpur, Madhya Pradesh, Warson Khansu and Hoping Soro, both native of Chingjaroi Khullen, decided to start their startup company.

To realise their dream Warson got himself trained as VSLSI Design and Verification Engineer at Maven Silicon, Bengaluru and also trained as a Web Design Engineer at Pankaj Academy, Mumbai. While Hoping Soro took extra edge back-to-back courses on PCB Designing from Mumbai and Networking Engineer CCNA+CCNP from New Delhi.

Peacemoon Zimik, General Secretary TLL lauded the innovative duo for bringing back what they have learned to the community and added that it would give its fullest support.

While welcoming the duo to the union, AS. Paulinus Aso, president CUU urged to offer the best available opportunities to the native youths by training and grooming them while catering to the needs of the town customers.
