Manasha Devi Sapam crowned Miss Manipur 2022 after two year hiatus

Imphal: Manasha Devi Sapam, contestant 7 was crowned as Miss Manipur 2022 after a two year hiatus in a glittering ceremony held at Manipur Trade and Expo Centre, Lamboikhongnangkhong, Imphal on Sunday. Miss Manipur pageant 2022 was held under the theme where extraordinary is created.

Both the 1st and 2nd runner-up went to Kongsangthei P Huray, Contestant 4 of Kachai village, Ukhrul district and Philayung Jajo, Contestant 18 of Apong village, Kamjong district respectively.

Presented by Halley and Sonya, the 5th edition of Miss Manipur 2022 winner takes home the crown title and a cash prize of Rs. 1 lakh. Manasha Devi Sapam will represent Manipur in Miss North East 2022. The 1st and 2nd runner-up wins a cash prize of Rs. 80,000 and Rs. 60,000 respectively.

Miss Manipur 2022 winner and other contestant will also get direct entry to Miss North East 2022 organised by Northeast Beauty Pageant Organisation (NEBPO), a regional beauty pageant body, to empower youth from the region.
