Manipuri referee Ajit Kumar Meetei was awarded the best referee title by the All India Football Federation (AIFF) for his excellent officiating across competitions in Indian football last season.
Further bringing laurel to the state, 20 year old Manipuri lass, Ratanbala Devi who plays for Sethu FC in the Indian Women’s League was awarded the Emerging Women Footballer title.
