Manipur’s Rejoice Singh Signs International Film Project in Meghalaya

Imphal, September 13: Manipur-born hair and makeup designer Rejoice Singh has been signed for an upcoming international film scheduled to be shot in Meghalaya, Northeast India.

Singh has earned recognition in South India for his work in the Kannada film Chilli Chicken, directed by Prateek Prajosh under Metanoia Studios, Bangalore. The film, currently streaming on Amazon Prime, showcased his detailed and authentic styling for the characters.

He was also part of Miss Universe India 2025, designing looks for several contestants, including Sarangthem Nirupama, who went on to secure the 4th Runner-Up position.

The upcoming international project marks a significant milestone in Singh’s career, highlighting the growing visibility of creative talent from Northeast India in global cinema.
