Kajichew mentioned that the main object of organising such events was to encourage the local youth for entrepreneurship with different varieties where many youth came out opening stalls on the street. The event which is organised every year saw improvements each year with different local cuisines and tea/coffee, which is a sign of encouragement for youth entrepreneurship, he said.

Mao, being the border town of the state has seen much improvement that the organising committee has been trying to boost the local economy with the coming of festive seasons. With the coming of Christmas to prove Jesus as the light and hope of the world, the youth of the village have made various decorations with colourful lights along the streets and residential houses to welcome the birth of Jesus Christ.

The organising committee believed that the light decorations will give a light of hope to all passers-by in the same way as the birth of Jesus Christ has given to the world.
