Musify inaugurated at RCEMPA Jotsoma, Nagaland

Kohima: Artis Bertulis, Ambassador of Latvia to India today inaugurated ‘Musify’ (the music room) at Regional Centre of Excellence for Music and Performing Arts (RCEMPA) Jotsoma near Kohima.

Speaking on the occasion, Bertulis expressed admiration of the Nagas for their love for arts and music.

Adding that there are lots of similarity between Nagaland and Latvia in terms of performing music and arts, the Latvian Ambassador said the time has come to focus towards international outlook and also build a good network to flourish the music industry.

Regional Centre of Excellence for Music and Performing Arts

Theja Meru, advisor Task Force for Music & Arts (TaFMA) said that Musify is basically a music room, which will serve as a space for practice, talk show, recording of songs and videos.

‘Musify’ is an initiative of TaFMA.


TaFMA project director Dr. Hovithal Sothu also present at the function.
