Nagaland Schools to have no Winter vacation

Schools under the Directorate of School Education of Nagaland will continue with online/offline activities till December 22, 2020. There will be Christmas and New Year holidays from December 23 till January 3, 2021. Which means the usual winter vacation is cancelled.

This information was given by the Directorate of School Education of Nagaland on Friday.

The Education directorate then asked school heads, teachers and other staff to remain in their respective places of posting till December 22, 2020 and return to their places of posting after Christmas and New Year holidays and resume from January 4, 2021 with the activities related to online/offline learning programmes for all classes and other training programmes to be launched by the Education department.

The Directorate of School Education of Nagaland then informed that a separate notification will be issued regarding the re-opening of schools for the 2021 academic session. The Education department then said that, till such time schools should not ask students to come for regular classes for the 2021 academic session.
