Imphal: Nimsolan KS of Ukhrul district’s Hungpung Kazipphung clinched gold medal at the State Jurnior Boxing Championships 2022 for junior boys and girls at Khuman Lampak Boxing Ring under the aegis of Manipur Amateur Boxing Association (MABA).
Nimsolan KS, daughter of KS Jeremiah won the gold medal in the 13th Junior Girls State Level Boxing Championships at the State Level Boxing Championship which kicked off on June 1.
Meanwhile, Ukhrul’s Mashungchui Phungshok defeated Angom Ronaldo Meitei of Bishnupur 5-0 to win the 48 kg junior boys’ bout in the State Level Boxing Championship 2022.
Mashungchui Phungshok had dominated S Bikash Meitei of Kakching 3-2 as he moved to the finals.
