UKHRUL, NOV 12: The NSCN/GPRN said that a “misleading information was fed to the media by the so-called MIP of the ZUF (Jengchui Group) dated 1st November 2025, wherein the name of Lieutenant Col. Khangdi, Naga Army, was linked to the abduction case of an official of Apex Construction Company at Longkao (Nungkao).”

In a clarification issued by the MIP on Wednesday, the NSCN said that the information fed “is not based on the ground reality and totally untrue.”

The clarification further maintained that “the Zeilad Region of NSCN/GPRN in no manner allowed such socio-economic crime to take place in the region where its members are connected in any respect whatsoever. It is unfortunate that ZUF is simply desperate to tarnish the good name of NSCN/GPRN.”
