NSWON Condemns Alleged Rape and Murder of Mhaikam Woman in Nagaland

Ukhrul, April 9: The National Socialist Women’s Organization of Nagalim (NSWON) has expressed shock and anguish over the alleged rape and murder of a young mother from Mhaikam village, Nagaland on April 7, 2025.

Condemning this horrific incident in the strongest terms, the NSWON stated that no woman deserves to face such a tragic fate. “As women, we feel ashamed of men who possess such a mentality to commit violence against women. Such crimes are a social menace that we cannot allow to happen repeatedly,” the NSWON emphasized.

While sharing in the woman’s pain, the organization urged law enforcement authorities to spare no efforts in tracking down the actual perpetrator and delivering justice. The NSWON extended its thoughts and prayers to the bereaved family.
