Imphal: A one-day prayer meeting was held at Chingmeirong, Tangkhul Avenue Baptist Fellowship Centre on Wednesday, regarding the present situation in Manipur in order to hasten the peace process in the state.
The prayer meeting was followed by the Second Logos Gospel Ministry Manipur Blood Donation Day, which was observed at the Regional Institute of Medical Science Transfusion Blood Centre Imphal. It was organised by Logos Gospel Ministry under the theme “Life is in the blood.”
More than 50 Christian youth leaders and pastors attended the programme. Manipur renowned artists cum Logos Gospel Ministry member Joseph Thokchom and Mandakini Takhellambam attended the programme.
Regarding the event, comedian Joseph expressed his heartfelt happiness to the youth Christians and reaffirmed that we should donate our blood to the needy ones just as Jesus did according to the Bible.

“As a youth Christian, we must obey the Scriptures and follow the word of God, and naturally keep ourselves pure from drugs and unwanted substances. Doing this will also help the government to fulfill its project on war against drugs. As Christians, it should be our priority to do good,” he said.
More than fifty youth Christians enrolled in the blood donation.
