Kohima: Royal Club Kohima (RCK) observed its 34th raising day at Jakhama today.
Exhorting the Club members, retired DGP Nagaland & former RCK president K Kire stressed on the club’s motto “Service to all”.
The club has been organizing the prestigious Royal Gold Cup, an All India Football Federation affiliated football tourney with a view to promote the game in the state, he said.
Being one of the oldest clubs in the capital, RCK has been participating in philanthropist activities assigned by the state government, he said.
With the senior members already retiring, Kire encouraged the younger members to play a pro-active role in taking forward the flame of the club as one family.
Delivering the presidential address, Ken Keditsu inter school football tournament in 2019, contribution to CM Relief Fund, highlighted the activities of the club since 2019-2021.
Khrietseituo Tungoe and Viechühu Liezietsu presented the general secretary and treasurer’s reports respectively.
Chaired by Neiba Nakhro th program commenced with a prayer by Thejao Vihienuo while Ahelie Keyho tendered the vote of thanks.
The raising day was also marked with members participating in games and entertainment.
