UKHRUL: Sinakeithei Village Authority has condemned the acts of arson, attempted murder, abduction, and firing on unarmed civilians allegedly by some Kuki miscreants.
In a statement issued on Monday, Sinakeithei Village Authority alleged that arsonists travelling in a white Bolero vehicle, coming from the Leplen side towards Lapharak (Kuki Village), stopped along the way and deliberately set lire to portions of the Lungter Hill Range under Sinakeithei village territorial jurisdiction around 12.30 pm.
Stating that the arson of the Lungter Hill Range not as an isolated act, but a calculated strategy, it alleged that the fire was intentionally set to create confusion and to take advantage of the situation for their movement and activities in and around the area.
