Sorshia Christian College, Mapao Zingtun opens its doors to students

Kangpokpi: A new residential college, Sorshia Christian College, has been established in Mapao Zingtun, Kangpokpi District, Manipur.

According to a press release issued on April 1 by the college director, Dr Atom Sunil Singh, the college registered under GoM (Regd. No. 52 of 2018) is located on the slope of a hill, surrounded by breathtaking scenic beauty and an eco-friendly campus.

As per the institution, Sorshia Christian College has a first-class building with infrastructure of classrooms, conference halls, student hostels, and teaching and non-teaching staff quarters. It also added that the college will offer high-quality education to students with a commitment to hard work, dedication, and community service.

The college director further said that it is proud to announce the opening of the college this year to students interested in pursuing Arts subjects. English, Sociology, Political Science, History, Education, Manipuri, Tangkhul, Hindi, and Psychology among the subjects that will be offered to students.

Dr Atom Sunil Singh said that the college believes in empowering students to become responsible and socially conscious individuals. The faculty and staff of Sorshia Christian College are committed to providing students with a well-rounded education and the tools necessary to excel in their respective fields.

Sorshia Christian College is looking to recruit 5 Assistant Professors for each department.
