Ukhrul, October 19: As Somdal village and the entire Tangkhul region gear up to welcome Ato Kilonser Thuingaleng Muivah after five decades, the youth and student community express profound sentiments of reverence and joy over the historic homecoming of the Naga leader.

It is akin to meeting a renowned being—a god-like figure. For me, this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.”
The Tangkhul Katamnao Saklong (TKS), as the apex student body, has undertaken active preparations to ensure maximum student participation in welcoming the leader. “We are mobilizing and sensitizing our students and installing hoardings across the district. Meetings have been held with zonal leaders, principals, and school authorities. All educational institutions under TKS will remain closed on the day to join in the welcome,” the TKS President announced, calling on the student community and the public to be part of this historic occasion.
