Ukhrul AR conducted felicitation ceremony for Indian Army Officer Selection

Ukhrul, April 3: The Somsai Battalion Assam Rifles under the aegis of IGAR(S), in a press release said, it conducted “Felicitation Ceremony for Indian Army Officer Selection” PGME at Somsai, Ukhrul District, Manipur on Monday.

According to the press release, Mingachan Ahaonao was selected in the 21st Service Selection Board conducted at Bhopal. Mingachan was imparted pre-selection training in Somsai Battalion with effect from October till December 2022.

The release further said that the local populace applauded the efforts made by Assam Rifles for undertaking such initiatives in the hill district and encouraging the youth to join defence forces.
