Veio Pou and Wangto Chingmak wins Gordon Graham Prize for Naga Literature 2021

Kohima: Writer of Waiting for the dust to settle, Veio Pou and writer of The Chang Nagas – In memory of our undefeated ancestors, Wangto Chingmak won this year’s Gordon Graham Prize for Naga Literature 2021 ( GGPNL) on Tuesday.

Veio Pou’s Waiting for the dust to settle received the GGPNL Fiction Category, while Wangto Chingmak’s book, The Chang Nagas – In memory of our undefeated ancestors received the GGPNL award for Non-Fiction Category.

The two writers received the award from chief minister of Nagaland Neiphiu Rio and a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh each at the award ceremony held at Kohima on November 30 organized by Kohima Educational Society.
