112 BN CRPF Conducts Civic Action Programme at Luwangsanggol Village

KANGPOKPI: In a bid to strengthen outreach with local communities, the 112 Battalion CRPF, under the aegis of IG Manipur & Nagaland Sector, CRPF, organised a Civic Action Programme on Tuesday at Luwangsanggol village, Kangpokpi district, Manipur.

The programme was graced by Dr Uma Shankar Verma, CMO (SG), as the Chief Guest. Ramesh Kumar Tripathi, Assistant Commandant, along with INSP/GD Rajkaran Yadav and Officer-in-Charge of Sepermaina Police Station, Inspector Thangpu Kipgen, were also present. Villagers, including beneficiaries of the programme, participated in the event.

As part of the initiative, 500-litre Sintex water storage tanks were distributed to needy families of Luwangsanggol village. On behalf of the 112 BN CRPF, Ramesh Kumar Tripathi expressed heartfelt gratitude to the village chairman, Seiminlen Kilong, secretary Lenmoi Kilong, church members and all villagers for their active support and cooperation.

He further urged the residents to continue cooperating with the CRPF and to keep them informed for better coordination and prompt response.

The villagers and village leadership conveyed their sincere appreciation to the 112 BN CRPF for extending assistance, particularly to internally displaced persons affected by the ongoing ethnic violence in the state.
