Bomb blast at AMSU office in DM campus, one dead

Imphal: (Updated) Unidentified miscreants blasted a strong bomb reportedly at AMSU Office in DM College Campus, Thangmeiband, Imphal West District on Friday evening around 9:20pm.

The heavy explosion was heard far and wide. Two persons Salam Michael (24) son of S Ibomcha from Keibul Lamjao and Oinam Kenegy (24) son of O Ingocha from Upokpi who sustained injuries in the blast were evacuated to Raj Medicity at North AOC, Imphal. Oinam Kenegy is said to have passed away in Raj Medicity.

Manipur Police team immediately arrived at the blast site to take stock of the situation. Investigation is underway. Details Awaited.
