Kohima: The grand finale of the 21st NSF Martyrs’ Memorial Trophy 2021 organised by Angami Students’ Union (ASU) will take place on today at 5:30 PM at Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima.
Mhakenyi Kro-u FC will clash with Head Hunters in finals.

Nagaland’s PWD (Mechanical & Housing) minister Tongpang Ozukum will grace the grand finale as the special guest.

This prestigious trophy under the theme “Goal for peace” is a month long tournament organized in honour and in remembrance of the two comrades Late Kekuojalie Sachü and Late Vikhozo Yhoshü, who were victims to the indiscriminate firings of the Armed Police from Alichen, when the students’ fraternity, on March 20, 1986, were on a peaceful duty call of the Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) to register Nagas resentment against the State government’s decision to the Extension of Disturbed Area Belt from 5 KM along the Indo-Myanmar Border and against the induction of Indian Police Service (IPS) cadres into the state of Nagaland.
