3000 mark breached: Manipur COVID-19 cases

On Tuesday, with 98 new cases confirmed in the past 24 hours, COVID-19 cases in Manipur went up to 3010, with zero fatality, official reported. 1197 are active cases while the number of recovered cases is 1814.

COVID-19 Common Control Room reported, 34 are Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) personnel posted at various parts of the state in a press release. The report showed detection of 64 COVID-19 cases from among the general population. 25 are from Imphal West district, 23 from Thoubal district, two from Kakching, five from Chandel, one from Tamenglong and eight from Imphal East district.

Except for one case from Tamenglong district, a returnee, all the 63 new cases of COVID-19 were infected without any significant recent travel history, the Control Room said.
